I need help to put highlights on my sons football game dvd with my mac and am clueless on how to do this.?

I have a game dvd that I recieved from the school. I need to highlite my son in every play he is in with a circle, star, or whatever choices I have. I have college coaches wanting this, so I need to get this done. I know this is asking alot but I need literal step by step instructions on how to do this on my mac.
