Which is better, Full highlights or Partial highlights?

School is back in session in a few weeks and I wanna get blonde highlights but I have dark brown hair. I've had it done when I was younger but now it's all full or partial and when I had it done last it was just highlights, I wear my hair down and up a little of each so I dont know what to get or which one looks better can someone please show a picture of the difference please??Which is better, Full highlights or Partial highlights?
I'd probably go for partial highlights, because if you don't like it you can at least try to hide it or fix it back to your old color. But if you get full highlights that's gonna be a lot of work. Also like you said you're starting school soon, so you don't want people to see such a extreme change of hair style just over the summer. Here are some pictures you can look at :

Hope you take my advice and rate me best answer =)Which is better, Full highlights or Partial highlights?

Of course, blonde Highlights have been in for a while now. Since you have dark hair, it's best to match it up.

For example, Dark brown is good with light brown highlights. It will give it a more natural look.

If you still want blonde highlights, it's good to dye your hair a lighter color like light brown, then you can add those blonde highlights.

Other than that, you will have a not as much of a natural look if you don't take this advice.

Thank you!
I would get only partial highlights. Because i have had many friends get highlights and they hated them! So stay safe and get CARAMEL partial highlights. Caramel is a cute color and always in style! good luck :-)

It depends if you want just a little blond or a lot.

Either one would look fine.
